John 10:41

Many came to him (polloi hlton prov auton).
Jesus was busy here and in a more congenial atmosphere than Jerusalem. John wrought no signs the crowds recall, though Jesus did many here (Matthew 19:2). The crowds still bear the impress of John's witness to Christ as "true" (alhth). Here was prepared soil for Christ.
