Chapter Overview

Hezekiah mourns and sends to Isaiah to pray for them, verse 1-5.
He comforts them, verse 6, 7.
Sennacherib called away against the king of Ethiopia, sends a blasphemous letter to Hezekiah, verse 8-13.
His prayer, verse 14-20.
Isaiah's prophecy, verse 21-35.
An angel slays the Assyrians, verse 36.
Sennacherib is slain at Nineveh by his own sons, verse 37, 38.
