1 Corinthians 12:1-11 [ Verse 2 in Original: Greek ]
[ Read Chapter | Discuss these Verses ]
1 Now concerning spiritual R454 gifts, brethren, I R455 do not want you to be unaware. 2 You R456 know that when you were pagans, you were led R457 astray to the mute R458 idols, however you were led. 3 Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by R459 F126 the Spirit of God says, "Jesus is accursed"; R460 F127 and no one can say, "Jesus is Lord," R461 except by R459 F126 the Holy Spirit. 4 Now there are varieties R462 of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 And there are varieties of ministries, and the same Lord. 6 There are varieties of effects, but the same God R463 who works all things in all persons. 7 But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for R464 the common good. 8 For to one is given the word of wisdom R465 through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge R466 according to the same Spirit; 9 to another faith R467 by F128 the same Spirit, and to another gifts R468 of healing F129 by F128 the one Spirit, 10 and to another the effecting F130 of miracles, R469 F131 and to another prophecy, R470 and to another the distinguishing R471 F132 of spirits, to another various kinds R472 of tongues, and to another the interpretation R473 of tongues. 11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing R474 to each one individually just as He wills.
