1 Corinthians 14:26-33 [ Verse 33 in Original: Greek ]
[ Read Chapter | Discuss these Verses ]
26 How is it (5748) then, brethren? when ye come together (5741), every one of you hath (5719) a psalm, hath (5719) a doctrine, hath (5719) a tongue, hath (5719) a revelation, hath (5719) an interpretation. Let all things be done (5634) unto edifying. 27 If any man speak (5719) in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret (5720). 28 But if there be (5753) no interpreter, let him keep silence (5720) in the church; and let him speak (5720) to himself, and to God. 29  * Let the prophets speak (5720) two or three, and let the other judge (5720). 30 If any thing be revealed (5686) to another that sitteth by (5740), let the first hold his peace (5720). 31 For ye may (5736) all prophesy (5721) one by one *, that all may learn (5725), and all may be comforted (5747). 32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject (5743) to the prophets. 33 For God is (5748) not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
