1 Corinthians 4:17-21 [ Verse 20 in Original: Greek ]
[ Read Chapter | Discuss these Verses ]
17 For this reason I have R170 sent to you Timothy, R171 who is my beloved R172 and faithful child in the Lord, and he will remind you of my ways which are in Christ, just R173 as I teach everywhere in every church. 18 Now some have become arrogant, R174 F45 as though I were not coming R175 to you. 19 But I will R176 come to you soon, if R177 the Lord wills, and I shall find out, not the words F46 of those who are arrogant R178 but their power. 20 For the kingdom of God does not R179 consist in words F47 but in power. 21 What do you desire? Shall R180 I come to you with a rod, or with love and a spirit of gentleness?
