Now it came about in R527 the third year of Hoshea, the son of Elah king of Israel, that Hezekiah R528 the son of Ahaz king of Judah became king.

Now in the fourth year of King Hezekiah, which was the seventh year of Hoshea son of Elah king of Israel, Shalmaneser R540 king of Assyria came up against Samaria and besieged it.
