David captured from him 1,700 horsemen and 20,000 foot soldiers; and David hamstrung R228 the chariot horses, but reserved enough of them for 100 chariots.

When the R229 Arameans of Damascus came to help Hadadezer, king of Zobah, David killed F81 22,000 Arameans.

Toi sent Joram F85 his son to King David to greet F86 him and bless him, because he had fought against Hadadezer and defeated F87 him; for Hadadezer had F88 been at war with Toi. And Joram F89 brought with him articles of silver, of gold and of bronze.
