When the crowds saw what Paul had done, they raised their voice, saying in the Lycaonian R818 language, "The R819 gods have become like men and have come down to us."

And they began calling Barnabas, Zeus, F341 and Paul, Hermes, F342 because he was the F343 chief speaker.

The priest of Zeus, whose temple was just F344 outside the city, brought oxen and garlands to the gates, and wanted R820 to offer sacrifice with the crowds.
