[ Read Chapter | Discuss these Verses ]
1 Then the word of the LORD came to me saying, 2 "Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds R1201 of Israel. Prophesy and say to those F496 shepherds, `Thus says the Lord GOD, "Woe, shepherds of Israel who have been feeding R1202 F498 themselves! Should not the shepherds feed R1203 F498 the flock? 3 "You eat R1204 the fat and clothe yourselves with the wool, you slaughter R1205 the fat sheep without feeding F499 the flock. 4 "Those who are sickly you have not strengthened, the diseased F500 you have not healed, the R1206 broken you have not bound up, the scattered you have not brought back, nor have you sought R1207 for the lost; but with force and with severity you have dominated them. 5 "They were scattered R1208 for lack of a shepherd, and they became food R1209 for every beast of the field and were scattered. 6 "My flock wandered R1210 through all the mountains and on every high hill; My R1211 flock was scattered over all the surface of the earth, and there was no R1212 one to search or seek for them.""'
