Walk by the Spirit

1 It R199 F93 was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep R200 standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke R201 of slavery.

2 Behold I, Paul, R202 say to you that if you receive circumcision, R203 Christ will be of no benefit to you. 3 And I testify R204 again to every man who receives circumcision, R205 that he is under obligation to keep R206 the whole Law. 4 You have been severed from Christ, you who are F94 seeking to be justified by law; you have fallen R207 from grace. 5 For we through F95 the Spirit, by F96 faith, are waiting R208 for the hope of righteousness. 6 For in Christ R209 Jesus neither R210 circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but faith R211 working through love.

7 You were running R212 well; who hindered you from obeying the truth? 8 This persuasion did not come from Him R213 who calls you. 9 A R214 little leaven leavens the whole lump of dough. 10 I R215 have confidence in F97 you in the Lord that you will R216 adopt no other view; but the one who is disturbing R217 you will bear his judgment, whoever he is. 11 But I, brethren, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? R218 Then the R219 stumbling block of the cross has been abolished. 12 I wish that those R220 who are troubling you would even mutilate R221 F98 themselves.

13 For you were called to freedom, R222 brethren; only R223 do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve R224 one another. 14 For the R225 whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the statement, "YOU R226 SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF." 15 But if you bite R227 and devour one another, take care that you are not consumed by one another.

16 But I say, walk R228 by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the R229 desire of the flesh. 17 For the R230 flesh sets F99 its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so R231 that you may not do the things that you please. F100 18 But if you are led R232 by the Spirit, you R233 are not under the Law. 19 Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, R234 F101 impurity, sensuality, 20 idolatry, sorcery, R235 enmities, strife, R236 jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, R237 dissensions, factions, R238 F102 21 envying, drunkenness, R239 carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit R240 the kingdom of God. 22 But the R241 fruit of the Spirit is love, R242 joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; R243 against such things there R244 is no law. 24 Now those who belong F103 to Christ R245 Jesus have crucified R246 the flesh with its passions and desires. R247

25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk F104 by R248 the Spirit. 26 Let us not become boastful, R249 challenging one another, envying one another.
