Genesis 41:9-16 [ Verse 15 in Original: Hebrew / Greek ]
[ Read Chapter | Discuss these Verses ]
9 Then spake (8762) the chief butler (8688) unto Pharaoh, saying (8800), I do remember (8688) my faults this day: 10 Pharaoh was wroth (8804) with his servants, and put (8799) me in ward in the captain of the guard's house, both me and the chief baker (8802): 11 And we dreamed (8799) a dream in one night, I and he; we dreamed (8804) each man according to the interpretation of his dream. 12 And there was there with us a young man, an Hebrew, servant to the captain of the guard; and we told (8762) him, and he interpreted (8799) to us our dreams; to each man according to his dream he did interpret (8804). 13 And it came to pass, as he interpreted (8804) to us, so it was; me he restored (8689) unto mine office, and him he hanged (8804). 14 Then Pharaoh sent (8799) and called (8799) Joseph, and they brought him hastily (8686) out of the dungeon: and he shaved (8762) himself, and changed (8762) his raiment, and came in (8804) unto Pharaoh. 15 And Pharaoh said (8799) unto Joseph, I have dreamed (8804) a dream, and there is none that can interpret (8802) it: and I have heard (8804) say (8800) of thee, that thou canst understand (8799) a dream to interpret (8800) it. 16 And Joseph answered (8799) Pharaoh, saying (8800), It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer (8799) of peace.
