Isaiah 2:6-9 [ Verse 8 in Original: Hebrew / Greek ]
[ Read Chapter | Discuss these Verses ]
6 For You have abandoned R76 Your people, the house of Jacob, Because they are filled with influences from the east, And they are soothsayers like R77 the Philistines, And they strike R78 bargains with the children of foreigners. 7 Their land has also been filled with silver and gold And there is no end to their treasures; Their land has also been filled with horses R79 And there is no end to their chariots. 8 Their land has also been filled R80 with idols; They worship the work R81 of their hands, That which their fingers have made. 9 So the R82 common man has been humbled And the man of importance has been abased, But do R83 not forgive them.
