Isaiah 42:13-17 [ Verse 17 in Original: Hebrew / Greek ]
[ Read Chapter | Discuss these Verses ]
13 The R1643 LORD will go forth like a warrior, He will arouse His zeal R1644 like a man of war. He will utter a shout, yes, He will raise a war cry. He will prevail R1645 against His enemies. 14 "I R1646 have kept silent for a long time, I have kept still and restrained Myself. Now like a woman in labor I will groan, I will both gasp and pant. 15 "I will lay R1647 waste the mountains and hills And wither all their vegetation; I will make R1648 the rivers into coastlands And dry up the ponds. 16 "I will lead R1649 the blind by a way they do not know, In paths they do not know I will guide them. I will make R1650 darkness into light before them And rugged R1651 places into plains. These are the things I will do, And I will not R1652 leave them undone." 17 They will be turned back and be utterly R1653 put to shame, Who trust in idols, F612 Who say to molten images, "You are our gods."
