James 1:13-18 [ Verse 14 in Original: Greek ]
[ Read Chapter | Discuss these Verses ]
13 Let no one say when he is tempted, "I R29 am being tempted by F14 God"; for God cannot be tempted by F15 evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone. 14 But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust. 15 Then when R30 lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin R31 is F16 accomplished, it brings forth death. 16 Do R32 not be deceived, F17 my R33 beloved brethren. 17 Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from R34 above, coming down from the R35 Father of lights, with R36 whom there is no variation or shifting F18 shadow. 18 In the exercise of His R37 will He brought R38 us forth by the R39 word of truth, so that we would be a F19 kind of first R40 fruits among F20 His creatures.
