Jeremiah 30:10-17 [ Verse 14 in Original: Hebrew / Greek ]
[ Read Chapter | Discuss these Verses ]
10 `Fear R1491 not, O Jacob My servant,' declares the LORD, `And do not be dismayed, O Israel; For behold, I will save you from R1492 afar And your offspring F285 from the land of their captivity. And Jacob will return and will be quiet R1493 and at ease, And no R1494 one will make him afraid. 11 `For I R1495 am with you,' declares the LORD, `to save you; For I will destroy R1496 completely all the nations where I have scattered you, Only I will not R1497 destroy you completely. But I will chasten R1498 you justly And will by no means leave you unpunished.' 12 "For thus says the LORD, `Your wound is incurable And your injury R1499 is serious. 13 `There is no one to plead your cause; No healing for your sore, No R1500 recovery for you. 14 `All your lovers R1501 have forgotten you, They do not seek you; For I have wounded R1502 you with the wound of an enemy, With the punishment R1503 of a cruel R1504 one, Because your iniquity R1505 is great And your sins R1506 are numerous. 15 `Why do you cry out over your injury? Your pain is incurable. Because your iniquity is great And your sins are numerous, I have done these things to you. 16 `Therefore all who devour R1507 you will be devoured; And all your adversaries, every one of them, will R1508 go into captivity; And those who plunder you will be for plunder, And all who prey upon you I will give for prey. 17 `For I will restore F286 you to health R1509 F287 And I will heal you of your wounds,' declares the LORD, `Because they have called you an outcast, R1510 saying: "It is Zion; no one cares F288 for her."'
