Jeremiah 30:10-17 [ Verse 14 in Original: Hebrew / Greek ]
[ Read Chapter | Discuss these Verses ]
10 Therefore fear (8799) thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith (8803) the LORD; neither be dismayed (8735), O Israel: for, lo, I will save (8688) thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return (8804), and shall be in rest (8804), and be quiet (8768), and none shall make him afraid (8688). 11 For I am with thee, saith (8803) the LORD, to save (8687) thee: though I make (8799) a full end of all nations whither I have scattered (8689) thee, yet will I not make (8799) a full end of thee: but I will correct (8765) thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether (8763) unpunished (8762). 12 For thus saith (8804) the LORD, Thy bruise is incurable (8803), and thy wound is grievous (8737). 13 There is none to plead (8802) thy cause, that thou mayest be bound up: thou hast no healing medicines. 14 All thy lovers (8764) have forgotten (8804) thee; they seek (8799) thee not; for I have wounded (8689) thee with the wound of an enemy (8802), with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the multitude of thine iniquity; because thy sins were increased (8804). 15 Why criest (8799) thou for thine affliction? thy sorrow is incurable (8803) for the multitude of thine iniquity: because thy sins were increased (8804), I have done (8804) these things unto thee. 16 Therefore all they that devour (8802) thee shall be devoured (8735); and all thine adversaries, every one of them, shall go (8799) into captivity; and they that spoil (8802) (8675) (8802) thee shall be a spoil, and all that prey (8802) upon thee will I give (8799) for a prey. 17 For I will restore (8686) health unto thee, and I will heal (8799) thee of thy wounds, saith (8803) the LORD; because they called (8804) thee an Outcast (8737), saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after (8802).
