[ Read Chapter | Discuss these Verses ]
28 Concerning Kedar, and concerning the kingdoms of Hazor, which Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon shall smite (8689), thus saith (8804) the LORD; Arise (8798) ye, go up (8798) to Kedar, and spoil (8798) the men of the east. 29 Their tents and their flocks shall they take away (8799): they shall take (8799) to themselves their curtains, and all their vessels, and their camels; and they shall cry (8804) unto them, Fear is on every side. 30 Flee (8798), get (8798) you far off, dwell (8800) deep (8689), O ye inhabitants (8802) of Hazor, saith (8803) the LORD; for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath taken counsel * (8804) against you, and hath conceived (8804) a purpose against you. 31 Arise (8798), get you up (8798) unto the wealthy nation, that dwelleth (8802) without care, saith (8803) the LORD, which have neither gates nor bars, which dwell (8799) alone. 32 And their camels shall be a booty, and the multitude of their cattle a spoil: and I will scatter (8765) into all winds them that are in the utmost (8803) corners; and I will bring (8686) their calamity from all sides thereof, saith (8803) the LORD. 33 And Hazor shall be a dwelling for dragons, and a desolation for ever: there shall no man abide (8799) there, nor any son of man dwell (8799) in it.
