Job 24:13-17 [ Verse 17 in Original: Hebrew / Greek ]
[ Read Chapter | Discuss these Verses ]
13 They are of those that rebel (8802) against the light; they know (8689) not the ways thereof, nor abide (8804) in the paths thereof. 14 The murderer (8802) rising (8799) with the light killeth (8799) the poor and needy, and in the night is as a thief. 15 The eye also of the adulterer (8802) waiteth (8804) for the twilight, saying (8800), No eye shall see (8799) me: and disguiseth * (8799) his face. 16 In the dark they dig through (8804) houses, which they had marked (8765) for themselves in the daytime: they know (8804) not the light. 17 For the morning is to them even as the shadow of death: if one know (8686) them, they are in the terrors of the shadow of death.
