Job 38:12-24 [ Verse 12 in Original: Hebrew / Greek ]
[ Read Chapter | Discuss these Verses ]
12 Hast thou commanded (8765) the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know (8765) his place; 13 That it might take hold (8800) of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out (8735) of it? 14 It is turned (8691) as clay to the seal; and they stand (8691) as a garment. 15 And from the wicked their light is withholden (8735), and the high (8802) arm shall be broken (8735). 16 Hast thou entered (8804) into the springs of the sea? or hast thou walked (8694) in the search of the depth? 17 Have the gates of death been opened (8738) unto thee? or hast thou seen (8799) the doors of the shadow of death? 18 Hast thou perceived (8712) the breadth of the earth? declare (8685) if thou knowest (8804) it all. 19 Where is the way where light dwelleth (8799)? and as for darkness, where is the place thereof, 20 That thou shouldest take (8799) it to the bound thereof, and that thou shouldest know (8799) the paths to the house thereof? 21 Knowest (8804) thou it, because thou wast then born (8735)? or because the number of thy days is great? 22 Hast thou entered (8804) into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen (8799) the treasures of the hail, 23 Which I have reserved (8804) against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war? 24 By what way is the light parted (8735), which scattereth (8686) the east wind upon the earth?
