Job 40:6-14 [ Verse 7 in Original: Hebrew / Greek ]
[ Read Chapter | Discuss these Verses ]
6 Then the LORD answered Job out of the storm and said, 7 "Now gird R1095 up your loins like a man; I will ask R1096 you, and you instruct Me. 8 "Will you really annul R1097 My judgment? Will you condemn R1098 Me that R1099 you may be justified? 9 "Or do you have an arm like God, And can you thunder R1100 with a voice like His? 10 "Adorn R1101 yourself with eminence and dignity, And clothe yourself with honor and majesty. 11 "Pour out the R1102 overflowings of your anger, And look on everyone who is proud, R1103 and make him low. 12 "Look on everyone who is proud, and humble R1104 him, And tread R1105 down the wicked where F459 they stand. 13 "Hide R1106 them in the dust together; Bind them F460 in the hidden place. 14 "Then I will also confess F461 to you, That your own right hand can save you.
