Leviticus 22:10-16 [ Verse 15 in Original: Hebrew / Greek ]
[ Read Chapter | Discuss these Verses ]
10 There shall no stranger (8801) eat (8799) of the holy thing: a sojourner of the priest, or an hired servant, shall not eat (8799) of the holy thing. 11 But if the priest buy (8799) any soul with his money, he shall eat (8799) of it, and he that is born in his house: they shall eat (8799) of his meat. 12 If the priest's daughter also be married unto a stranger * (8801), she may not eat (8799) of an offering of the holy things. 13 But if the priest's daughter be a widow, or divorced (8803), and have no child, and is returned (8804) unto her father's house, as in her youth, she shall eat (8799) of her father's meat: but there shall no stranger (8801) eat (8799) thereof. 14 And if a man eat (8799) of the holy thing unwittingly, then he shall put (8804) the fifth part thereof unto it, and shall give (8804) it unto the priest with the holy thing. 15 And they shall not profane (8762) the holy things of the children of Israel, which they offer (8686) unto the LORD; 16 Or suffer them to bear (8689) the iniquity of trespass, when they eat (8800) their holy things: for I the LORD do sanctify (8764) them.
