Leviticus 5:1-6 [ Verse 6 in Original: Hebrew / Greek ]
[ Read Chapter | Discuss these Verses ]
1 And if a soul sin (8799), and hear (8804) the voice of swearing, and is a witness, whether he hath seen (8804) or known (8804) of it; if he do not utter (8686) it, then he shall bear (8804) his iniquity. 2 Or if a soul touch (8799) any unclean thing, whether it be a carcase of an unclean beast, or a carcase of unclean cattle, or the carcase of unclean creeping things, and if it be hidden (8738) from him; he also shall be unclean, and guilty (8804). 3 Or if he touch (8799) the uncleanness of man, whatsoever uncleanness it be that a man shall be defiled (8799) withal, and it be hid (8738) from him; when he knoweth (8804) of it, then he shall be guilty (8804). 4 Or if a soul swear (8735), pronouncing (8763) with his lips to do evil (8687), or to do good (8687), whatsoever it be that a man shall pronounce (8762) with an oath, and it be hid (8738) from him; when he knoweth (8804) of it, then he shall be guilty (8804) in one of these. 5 And it shall be, when he shall be guilty (8799) in one of these things, that he shall confess (8694) that he hath sinned (8804) in that thing: 6 And he shall bring (8689) his trespass offering unto the LORD for his sin which he hath sinned (8804), a female from the flock, a lamb or a kid of the goats, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make an atonement (8765) for him concerning his sin.
