Luke 1:1-4 [ Verse 4 in Original: Greek ]
[ Read Chapter | Discuss these Verses ]
1 Forasmuch as many have taken in hand (5656) to set forth in order (5664) a declaration of those things which are most surely believed (5772) among us, 2 Even as they delivered (5627) them unto us, which from the beginning were (5637) eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word; 3 It seemed (5656) good to me also, having had perfect understanding (5761) of all things from the very first, to write (5658) unto thee in order, most excellent Theophilus, 4 That thou mightest know (5632) the certainty of those things, wherein thou hast been instructed (5681).
