Malachi 3:13-18 [ Verse 15 in Original: Hebrew / Greek ]
[ Read Chapter | Discuss these Verses ]
13 Your words have been stout (8804) against me, saith (8804) the LORD. Yet ye say (8804), What have we spoken (8738) so much against thee? 14 Ye have said (8804), It is vain to serve (8800) God: and what profit is it that we have kept (8804) his ordinance, and that we have walked (8804) mournfully before the LORD of hosts? 15 And now we call the proud happy (8764); yea, they that work (8802) wickedness are set up (8738); yea, they that tempt (8804) God are even delivered (8735). 16 Then they that feared the LORD spake often (8738) one to another: and the LORD hearkened (8686), and heard (8799) it, and a book of remembrance was written (8735) before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought (8802) upon his name. 17 And they shall be mine, saith (8804) the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up (8802) my jewels; and I will spare (8804) them, as a man spareth (8799) his own son that serveth (8802) him. 18 Then shall ye return (8804), and discern (8804) between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth (8802) God and him that serveth (8804) him not.
