Micah 2:1-5 [ Verse 3 in Original: Hebrew / Greek ]
[ Read Chapter | Discuss these Verses ]
1 Woe to those who scheme R39 iniquity, Who work out evil on their beds! When R40 F17 morning comes, they do it, For it is in the power R41 of their hands. 2 They covet R42 fields and then seize R43 them, And houses, and take them away. They rob R44 F18 a man and his house, A man and his inheritance. 3 Therefore thus says the LORD, "Behold, I am planning R45 against this family R46 a calamity From which you cannot R47 remove your necks; And you will not walk haughtily, R48 For it will be an evil R49 time. 4 "On that day they will take R50 up against you a taunt F19 And utter R51 F20 a bitter lamentation and say, `We are completely destroyed! R52 He exchanges the portion of my people; How He removes it from me! To the apostate He apportions R53 our fields.' 5 "Therefore you will have no one stretching R54 F21 a measuring line For you by lot in the assembly of the LORD.
