Mark 10:46-52 [ Verse 51 in Original: Greek ]
[ Read Chapter | Discuss these Verses ]
46 And they came (5736) to Jericho: and as he went (5740) out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat (5711) by the highway side begging (5723). 47 And when he heard (5660) that it was (5748) Jesus of Nazareth, he began (5662) to cry out (5721), and say (5721), Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy (5657) on me. 48 And many charged (5707) him that he should hold his peace (5661): but he cried (5707) the more a great deal, Thou Son of David, have mercy (5657) on me. 49 And Jesus stood still (5631), and commanded (5627) him to be called (5683). And they call (5719) the blind man, saying (5723) unto him, Be of good comfort (5720), rise (5669); he calleth (5719) thee. 50 And he, casting away (5631) his garment, rose (5631), and came (5627) to Jesus. 51 And Jesus answered (5679) and said (5719) unto him, What wilt (5719) thou that I should do (5661) unto thee * The blind man said (5627) unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight (5661). 52 And Jesus said (5627) unto him, Go thy way (5720); thy faith hath made thee whole (5758). And immediately he received his sight (5656), and followed (5707) Jesus in the way.
