The LORD an Abundant Helper.

1 Praise F1523 the F1524 LORD!

Praise R4549 the LORD, O my soul!

2 I will praise the LORD while R4550 I live;

I will sing R4551 praises to my God while I have my being.

3 Do R4552 not trust in princes,

In mortal F1525 man, R4553 in whom there is no R4554 salvation.

4 His spirit R4555 departs, he returns R4556 to the F1526 earth;

In that very day his thoughts R4557 perish.

5 How blessed R4558 is he whose help is the God of Jacob,

Whose hope R4559 is in the LORD his God,

6 Who made R4560 heaven and earth,

The sea R4561 and all that is in them;

Who keeps R4562 faith F1527 forever;

7 Who executes R4563 justice for the oppressed;

Who gives R4564 food to the hungry.

The LORD sets R4565 the prisoners free.

8 The LORD opens R4566 the eyes of the blind;

The LORD raises R4567 up those who are bowed down;

The LORD loves R4568 the righteous;

9 The LORD protects R4569 F1528 the strangers; F1529

He supports R4570 F1530 the fatherless and the widow,

But He thwarts F1531 the R4571 way of the wicked.

10 The LORD will reign R4572 forever,

Your God, O Zion, to all generations.

Praise F1532 the F1533 LORD!
