Protestation of Integrity and Prayer for Protection.

A Psalm of David.

1 Vindicate R706 F241 me, O LORD, for I have walked R707 in my integrity,

And I have trusted R708 in the LORD without R709 F242 wavering.

2 Examine R710 me, O LORD, and try me;

Test R711 my mind F243 and my heart.

3 For Your lovingkindness R712 is before my eyes,

And I have walked R713 in Your truth. F244

4 I do not sit R714 with deceitful F245 men,

Nor will I go with pretenders. R715 F246

5 I hate R716 the assembly of evildoers,

And I will not sit with the wicked.

6 I shall wash R717 my hands in innocence,

And I will go about Your R718 altar, O LORD,

7 That I may proclaim with the voice of thanksgiving R719

And declare all Your wonders. F247

8 O LORD, I love R720 the habitation of Your house

And the place where F248 Your glory R721 dwells.

9 Do R722 not take F249 my soul away along with sinners,

Nor my life with men R723 of bloodshed,

10 In whose hands is a wicked R724 scheme,

And whose right hand is full of bribes. R725

11 But as for me, I shall walk R726 in my integrity;

Redeem R727 me, and be gracious to me.

12 My R728 foot stands on a level R729 place;

In the congregations R730 I shall bless the LORD.
