Psalm 2:1-6 [ Verse 2 in Original: Hebrew / Greek ]
[ Read Chapter | Discuss these Verses ]
1 Why do the heathen rage (8804), and the people imagine (8799) a vain thing? 2 The kings of the earth set (8691) themselves, and the rulers (8802) take counsel (8738) together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, 3 Let us break their bands asunder (8762), and cast away (8686) their cords from us. 4 He that sitteth (8802) in the heavens shall laugh (8799): the Lord shall have them in derision (8799). 5 Then shall he speak (8762) unto them in his wrath, and vex (8762) them in his sore displeasure. 6 Yet have I set (8804) my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
