1 <Musician (8764) upon Shushaneduth, Michtam of David, to teach (8763); when he strove (8687) with Aramnaharaim and with Aramzobah, when Joab returned (8799), and smote (8686) of Edom in the valley of salt twelve * * thousand.] O God, thou hast cast us off (8804), thou hast scattered (8804) us, thou hast been displeased (8804); O turn thyself to us again (8787). 2 Thou hast made the earth to tremble (8689); thou hast broken (8804) it: heal (8798) the breaches thereof; for it shaketh (8804). 3 Thou hast shewed (8689) thy people hard things: thou hast made us to drink (8689) the wine of astonishment. 4 Thou hast given (8804) a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed (8710) because of the truth.
