Confidence in God's Protection.

For the choir director; on a stringed instrument. A Psalm of David.

1 Hear R1799 my cry, O God;

Give R1800 heed to my prayer.

2 From the end R1801 of the earth I call to You when my heart is faint; R1802

Lead me to the R1803 rock that is higher than I.

3 For You have been a refuge R1804 for me,

A tower R1805 of strength against F582 the enemy.

4 Let me dwell R1806 F583 in Your tent forever;

Let me take R1807 refuge in the shelter of Your wings. Selah. F584

5 For You have heard my vows, R1808 O God;

You have given me the inheritance of those who fear R1809 Your name.

6 You will prolong R1810 F585 the king's life; F586

His years will be as many generations.

7 He will abide F587 before R1811 God forever;

Appoint lovingkindness R1812 and truth that they may preserve him.

8 So I will sing R1813 praise to Your name forever,

That I may pay R1814 my vows day by day.
