Psalm 94:1-11 [ Verse 2 in Original: Hebrew / Greek ]
[ Read Chapter | Discuss these Verses ]
1 O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew (8685) thyself. 2 Lift up (8734) thyself, thou judge (8802) of the earth: render (8685) a reward to the proud. 3 LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph (8799)? 4 How long shall they utter (8686) and speak (8762) hard things? and all the workers (8802) of iniquity boast (8691) themselves? 5 They break in pieces (8762) thy people, O LORD, and afflict (8762) thine heritage. 6 They slay (8799) the widow and the stranger, and murder (8762) the fatherless. 7 Yet they say (8799), The LORD shall not see (8799), neither shall the God of Jacob regard (8799) it. 8 Understand (8798), ye brutish (8802) among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise (8686)? 9 He that planted (8802) the ear, shall he not hear (8799)? he that formed (8802) the eye, shall he not see (8686)? 10 He that chastiseth (8802) the heathen, shall not he correct (8686)? he that teacheth (8764) man knowledge, shall not he know? 11 The LORD knoweth (8802) the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
