Romans 15:1-4 [ Verse 3 in Original: Greek ]
[ Read Chapter | Discuss these Verses ]
1 We then that are strong ought (5719) to bear (5721) the infirmities of the weak, and not to please (5721) ourselves. 2  * Let every one of us please (5720) his neighbour for his good to edification. 3 For even Christ pleased (5656) not himself; but, as it is written (5769), The reproaches of them that reproached (5723) thee fell (5627) on me. 4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime (5648) were written (5648) for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have (5725) hope.
