- Romans 9:30-33 [ Verse 33 in Original: Greek ]
[ Read Chapter | Discuss these Verses ]
- 30 What R482 shall we say then? That Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, attained righteousness, even the R483 righteousness which is by F167 faith; 31 but Israel, pursuing R484 a law of righteousness, did not arrive R485 at that law. 32 Why? Because they did not pursue it by F168 faith, but as though it were by F168 works. They stumbled over the R486 stumbling stone, 33 just as it is written, "BEHOLD, I LAY IN ZION A STONE OF STUMBLING AND A ROCK OF OFFENSE, AND HE WHO BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED."
