God's Favor to Zion

1 Then F7 I lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, there was a man with a measuring R43 line in his hand. 2 So I said, "Where are you going?" And he said to me, "To measure R44 Jerusalem, to see how wide it is and how long it is." 3 And behold, the angel R45 who was speaking with me was going out, and another angel was coming out to meet him, 4 and said to him, "Run, speak to that young R46 man, saying, `Jerusalem R47 will be inhabited without R48 F8 walls because of the multitude R49 of men and cattle within it. 5 `For I,' declares the LORD, `will be a wall R50 of fire around F9 her, and I will be the glory R51 in her midst.' "

6 "Ho F10 there! Flee R52 from the land of the north," declares the LORD, "for I have dispersed R53 you as the four winds of the heavens," declares the LORD. 7 "Ho, Zion! Escape, R54 you who are living with the daughter of Babylon." 8 For thus says the LORD of hosts, "After glory R55 F11 He has sent me against the nations which plunder you, for he who touches you, touches the apple R56 F12 of His eye. 9 "For behold, I will wave R57 My hand over them so that they will be plunder R58 for their slaves. Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent Me. 10 "Sing R59 for joy and be glad, O daughter of Zion; for behold I am coming and I will dwell R60 in your midst," declares the LORD. 11 "Many R61 nations will join themselves to the LORD in that day and will become My people. Then I will dwell R62 in your midst, and you will know R63 that the LORD of hosts has sent Me to you. 12 "The LORD will possess R64 F13 Judah as His portion in the holy land, and will again choose R65 Jerusalem.

13 "Be R66 F14 silent, all flesh, before the LORD; for He is aroused R67 from His holy habitation."
