ISHVAH (ihssh' vuh) Personal name meaning, “he is equal” or “he satisfies.” Son of Asher (Genesis 46:17). He is not named in
Numbers 26:44, leading some scholars to think that a copyist duplicated the following name Ishvi with a minor variation. KJV read the text with different vowel points than the standard Hebrew manuscript, spelling the name Ishuah.
