(meh nyoo' hahth) Name meaning, “resting places.” Family descended from Judah (1 Chronicles 2:52 NRSV) or their town (TEV). Other English translations take this family as the other half of the Manahethites (KJV, REB; Manahathites, NAS, NIV) mentioned in
1 Chronicles 2:54. Menuhoth was possibly located to the northwest of Jerusalem towards Kiriath-jearim.
