Hebrew - Migron

(mihg' rahn) Place name meaning, “precipice.” Town (or towns) in Benjamin (1 Samuel 14:2; Isaiah 10:28). The town of 1 Samuel is generally located near Gibeah south of Michmash. The town of Isaiah 10:1 is generally located between Aiath (Ai) and Michmash, that is, to the north of Michmash. Suggested sites include Makrun, tell Miahryam, and tell el ‘Askar.
