KJV term for foreigners who are perhaps of mixed race and are associated with a dominant population (Jeremiah 25:20,Jeremiah 25:24;
Ezekiel 30:5). Modern translations generally replace mingled people with foreigners or with foreign plus a noun suitable to the context (folk, tribes, troops).
