Ex 14:12 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
"Is this not the word that we spoke to you in Egypt, saying, 'Leave us alone that we may serve the Egyptians '? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness ."

Ex 14:13 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
But Moses said to the people, "Do not fear! Stand by and see the salvation of the LORD which He will accomplish for you today; for the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you will never see them again forever.

Ex 14:15 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
Then the LORD said to Moses, "Why are you crying out to Me? Tell the sons of Israel to go forward.

Ex 14:25 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
He caused their chariot wheels to swerve, and He made them drive with difficulty; so the Egyptians said, "Let us flee from Israel, for the LORD is fighting for them against the Egyptians ."

Ex 14:26 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
Then the LORD said to Moses, "Stretch out your hand over the sea so that the waters may come back over the Egyptians, over their chariots and their horsemen ."

Ex 15:1 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
Then Moses and the sons of Israel sang this song to the LORD, and said, "I will sing to the LORD, for He is highly exalted; The horse and its rider He has hurled into the sea.

Ex 15:9 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
"The enemy said, 'I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; My desire shall be gratified against them;I will draw out my sword, my hand will destroy them.'

Ex 15:24 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
So the people grumbled at Moses, saying, "What shall we drink ?"

Ex 15:26 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
And He said, "If you will give earnest heed to the voice of the LORD your God, and do what is right in His sight, and give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you whichI have put on the Egyptians; for I, the LORD, am your healer ."

Ex 16:3 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
The sons of Israel said to them, "Would that we had died by the LORD'S hand in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the pots of meat, when we ate bread to the full; for you have brought us out into this wilderness to kill this whole assembly with hunger ."

Ex 16:4 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
Then the LORD said to Moses, "Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a day's portion every day, thatI may test them, whether or not they will walk in My instruction.

Ex 16:6 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
So Moses and Aaron said to all the sons of Israel, "At evening you will know that the LORD has brought you out of the land of Egypt;

Ex 16:8 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
Moses said, "This will happen when the LORD gives you meat to eat in the evening, and bread to the full in the morning; for the LORD hears your grumblings which you grumble against Him. And what are we? Your grumblings are not against us but against the LORD ."

Ex 16:9 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
Then Moses said to Aaron, "Say to all the congregation of the sons of Israel, 'Come near before the LORD, for He has heard your grumblings .'"

Ex 16:11 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

Ex 16:12 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
"I have heard the grumblings of the sons of Israel; speak to them, saying, 'At twilight you shall eat meat, and in the morning you shall be filled with bread; and you shall know thatI am the LORD your God .'"

Ex 16:15 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
When the sons of Israel saw it, they said to one another, "What is it?" For they did not know what it was. And Moses said to them, "It is the bread which the LORD has given you to eat.

Ex 16:19 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
Moses said to them, "Let no man leave any of it until morning ."

Ex 16:23 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
then he said to them, "This is what the LORD meant: Tomorrow is a sabbath observance, a holy sabbath to the LORD. Bake what you will bake and boil what you will boil, and all that is left over put aside to be kept until morning ."

Ex 16:25 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
Moses said, "Eat it today, for today is a sabbath to the LORD; today you will not find it in the field.

Ex 16:28 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
Then the LORD said to Moses, "How long do you refuse to keep My commandments and My instructions?

Moses said to Aaron, "Take a jar and put an omerful of manna in it, and place it before the LORD to be kept throughout your generations ."

Ex 17:2 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
Therefore the people quarreled with Moses and said, "Give us water that we may drink ." And Moses said to them, "Why do you quarrel with me? Why do you test the LORD ?"

But the people thirsted there for water; and they grumbled against Moses and said, "Why, now, have you brought us up from Egypt, to kill us and our children and our livestock with thirst ?"

Joshua did as Moses told him, and fought against Amalek; and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.

and he said, "The LORD has sworn; the LORD will have war against Amalek from generation to generation ."

He sent word to Moses, "I, your father-in-law Jethro, am coming to you with your wife and her two sons with her."

Ex 18:10 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
So Jethro said, "Blessed be the LORD who delivered you from the hand of the Egyptians and from the hand of Pharaoh, and who delivered the people from under the hand of the Egyptians.

Ex 18:14 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
Now when Moses' father-in-law saw all that he was doing for the people, he said, "What is this thing that you are doing for the people? Why do you alone sit as judge and all the people stand about you from morning until evening ?"

Ex 18:15 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
Moses said to his father-in-law, "Because the people come to me to inquire of God.

Ex 18:17 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
Moses' father-in-law said to him, "The thing that you are doing is not good.

Ex 18:24 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
So Moses listened to his father-in-law and did all that he had said.

Moses went up to God, and the LORD called to him from the mountain, saying, "Thus you shall say to the house of Jacob and tell the sons of Israel:

Ex 19:8 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
All the people answered together and said, "All that the LORD has spoken we will do !" And Moses brought back the words of the people to the LORD.

Ex 19:9 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
The LORD said to Moses, "Behold, I will come to you in a thick cloud, so that the people may hear whenI speak with you and may also believe in you forever ." Then Moses told the words of the people to the LORD.

Ex 19:10 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
The LORD also said to Moses, "Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their garments;

Ex 19:12 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
"You shall set bounds for the people all around, saying, 'Beware that you do not go up on the mountain or touch the border of it; whoever touches the mountain shall surely be put to death.

Then the LORD spoke to Moses, "Go down, warn the people, so that they do not break through to the LORD to gaze, and many of them perish.

Ex 19:23 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
Moses said to the LORD, "The people cannot come up to Mount Sinai, for You warned us, saying, 'Set bounds about the mountain and consecrate it.'"

Ex 19:24 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
Then the LORD said to him, "Go down and come up again, you and Aaron with you; but do not let the priests and the people break through to come up to the LORD, or He will break forth upon them."

Ex 19:25 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
So Moses went down to the people and told them.

Ex 20:1 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
Then God spoke all these words, saying,

Ex 20:19 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
Then they said to Moses, "Speak to us yourself and we will listen; but let not God speak to us, or we will die ."

But to the elders he said, "Wait here for us until we return to you. And behold, Aaron and Hur are with you; whoever has a legal matter, let him approach them."

"Why should the Egyptians speak, saying, 'With evil intent He brought them out to kill them in the mountains and to destroy them from the face of the earth '? Turn from Your burning anger and change Your mind about doing harm to Your people.

Ex 32:13 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]

Ex 32:29 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
Then Moses said, "Dedicate yourselves today to the LORD --for every man has been against his son and against his brother --in order that He may bestow a blessing upon you today ."

Ex 32:30 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
On the next day Moses said to the people, "You yourselves have committed a great sin; and nowI am going up to the LORD, perhapsI can make atonement for your sin ."

Ex 33:12 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]

Ex 33:14 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]

Now the LORD said to Moses, "Cut out for yourself two stone tablets like the former ones, andI will write on the tablets the words that were on the former tablets which you shattered.

Ex 34:9 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
He said, "If nowI have found favor in Your sight, O Lord, I pray, let the Lord go along in our midst, even though the people are so obstinate, and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us as Your own possession ."

Ex 34:10 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Hebrew]
Then God said, "Behold, I am going to make a covenant. Before all your peopleI will perform miracles which have not been produced in all the earth nor among any of the nations; and all the people among whom you live will see the working of the LORD, for it is a fearful thing thatI am going to perform with you.
