Then God said to Jacob, "Arise, go up to Bethel R1009 and live F665 there, and make an altar there to God, R1010 who appeared to you when R1011 you fled from F666 your brother Esau."

So Jacob said to his household R1012 and to all who were with him, "Put away the R1013 foreign gods which are among you, and purify R1014 yourselves and change your garments;

So they gave to Jacob all the foreign gods which they F668 had and the rings which were in their ears, and Jacob hid them under the oak F669 which was near Shechem.

So Jacob came to Luz R1019 (that is, Bethel), which is in the land of Canaan, he and all the people who were with him.
