Isaiah 50:1-3 [ Verse 3 in Original: Hebrew / Greek ]
[ Read Chapter | Discuss these Verses ]
1 Thus says the LORD, "Where is the certificate R2068 of divorce By which I have sent R2069 your mother away? Or to whom of My creditors did I sell R2070 you? Behold, you were sold for your iniquities, R2071 And for your transgressions R2072 your mother was R2073 sent away. 2 "Why was there no R2074 man when I came? When I called, why was there none to answer? Is My hand R2075 so short that it cannot ransom? Or have I no power to deliver? Behold, I dry R2076 up the sea with My rebuke, I make R2077 the rivers a wilderness; Their fish stink for lack of water And die of thirst. 3 "I clothe R2078 the heavens with blackness And make sackcloth their covering."
