Zion's Glory and New Name

1 For Zion's sake I will not keep silent,

And for Jerusalem's sake I will not keep quiet,

Until her righteousness R2563 goes forth like brightness,

And her salvation R2564 like a torch that is burning.

2 The nations R2565 will see your righteousness,

And all kings your glory;

And you will be called by a new name R2566

Which the mouth of the LORD will designate.

3 You will also be a crown R2567 of beauty in the hand of the LORD,

And a royal diadem F831 in the hand of your God.

4 It will no longer be said to you, "Forsaken," R2568 F832

Nor to your land will it any longer be said, "Desolate"; F833

But you will be called, "My F834 delight is in her,"

And your land, "Married"; R2569 F835

For the LORD R2570 delights in you,

And to Him your land will be married.

5 For as a young man marries a virgin,

So your sons will marry you;

And as the bridegroom F836 rejoices over the bride,

So your God R2571 will rejoice over you.

6 On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have appointed watchmen; R2572

All day and all night they will never keep silent.

You who remind R2573 the LORD, take no rest for yourselves;

7 And give R2574 Him no rest until He establishes

And makes Jerusalem R2575 a praise in the earth.

8 The R2576 LORD has sworn by His right hand and by His strong arm,

"I will never R2577 again give your grain as food for your enemies;

Nor will foreigners F837 drink your new wine for which you have labored."

9 But those who garner R2578 it will eat it and praise the LORD;

And those who gather it will drink it in the courts of My sanctuary.

10 Go through, go R2579 through the gates,

Clear the way for F838 the people;

Build R2580 up, build up the highway, R2581

Remove the stones, lift up a standard R2582 over the peoples.

11 Behold, the LORD has proclaimed to the end R2583 of the earth,

Say R2584 to the daughter of Zion, "Lo, your salvation R2585 comes;

Behold R2586 His reward is with Him, and His recompense before Him."

12 And they will call them, "The R2587 holy people,

The redeemed R2588 of the LORD";

And you will be called, "Sought out, a city not R2589 forsaken."
