Matthew 8:23-27 [ Verse 27 in Original: Greek ]
[ Read Chapter | Discuss these Verses ]
23 And when he was entered (5631) into a ship, his disciples followed (5656) him. 24 And, behold (5628), there arose (5633) a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered (5745) with the waves: but he was asleep (5707). 25 And his disciples came (5631) to him, and awoke (5656) him, saying (5723), Lord, save (5657) us: we perish (5731). 26 And he saith (5719) unto them, Why are ye (5748) fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose (5685), and rebuked (5656) the winds and the sea; and there was (5633) a great calm. 27 But the men marvelled (5656), saying (5723), What manner of man is (5748) this, that even the winds and the sea obey (5719) him!
