The Voice of the LORD in the Storm.

A Psalm of David.

1 Ascribe R793 to the LORD, O sons F264 of the mighty,

Ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.

2 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due F265 to His name;

Worship the LORD in R794 holy F266 array.

3 The voice R795 of the LORD is upon the waters;

The God of glory thunders, R796

The LORD is over many R797 F267 waters.

4 The voice of the LORD is powerful, R798

The voice of the LORD is majestic.

5 The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars;

Yes, the LORD breaks in pieces the R799 cedars of Lebanon.

6 He makes Lebanon skip R800 like a calf,

And Sirion R801 like a young wild ox.

7 The voice of the LORD hews out flames F268 of fire.

8 The voice of the LORD shakes F269 the wilderness;

The LORD shakes the wilderness of Kadesh. R802

9 The voice of the LORD makes the R803 deer to calve

And strips the forests bare;

And in R804 His temple everything says, "Glory!"

10 The LORD sat as King at the flood; R805

Yes, the LORD sits as King R806 forever.

11 The F270 LORD will give strength R807 to His people;

The F271 LORD will bless His people with peace. R808
