And the fifth angel sounded (5656), and I saw (5627) a star fall (5761) from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given (5681) the key of the bottomless pit.

And he opened (5656) the bottomless pit; and there arose (5627) a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened (5681) by reason of the smoke of the pit.

And there came (5627) out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given (5681) power, as the scorpions of the earth have (5719) power.

By these three was the third part of men killed (5681), by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued (5740) out of their mouths.

Neither repented they (5656) of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.
