Holman Bible Dictionary

RAVEN, RAVIN

KJV term for “prowl for food” or “feed greedily” (Psalms 22:13; Ezekiel 22:25,Ezekiel 22:27). KJV used ravin both as a verb meaning, “to prowl for food” (Genesis 49:27), and as a noun meaning, “something taken as prey” (Nahum 2:12).
